In today’s episode we will review the various agents that can be used to induce labour as well as indications and contraindications for induction. We will also review some of the more common reasons patients will undergo induction in the context of low-risk obstetrical practice, such as as post-dates, diet controlled gestational diabetes, gestational hypertension without preeclampsia, term prelabour rupture of membranes (PROM), and advanced maternal age. This will be our last episode moving into summer… We hope to be back producing episodes in September!
